This church was consecrated on 18 November 1883. A simple hall building with a three-sided east end. The upper windows of the church were large, with shallow arches; the lower ones small and paired. The interior had simple galleries (balconies) along the walls. The pulpit was moved towards the north gallery. The altar was made in the Neo-Gothic style. The church had an organ. Both bells dated from 1636 and were recast in 1880.

During the fighting of the Second World War the church was badly damaged and burned out inside.
By 1947 only the walls remained. Afterwards it gradually fell apart, and by 1990 only a fragment of the south wall and part of the chancel wall were left. In 1992 the wall fragments were finally dismantled down to the foundations. As of 1997 only remains of the base survived.
