A fieldstone building without a tower. Four buttresses at the corners. A flat plank ceiling. The altar and pulpit, of the 17th century, were combined. In 1898–99 the chancel, sacristy and tower were enlarged and rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic style. The organ was repaired in 1898.

After the Second World War the church was intact.

Later the roof was damaged. In 1949 the tower burned down. In 1958, during a flood, the church was dismantled and the material was used to reinforce a washed-out dam. A club building was erected on the site of the church.
