Aleksandr Sologubov

Philosopher and researcher of borderland cultures

Born in the town of Gusev in the Kaliningrad Region, he graduated from the Faculty of Physics of Kaliningrad State University (KSU) and completed postgraduate studies in logic there. He holds a Candidate of Sciences degree in Philosophy. His research interests include borderlands, semiotics and cenology. He has studied cultural borderlands in the Kaliningrad Region, on Sakhalin, in Lower Silesia and elsewhere. He has taught at university level and reviewed dissertations and other academic works for plagiarism. He takes photographs and writes articles.
